Gillie-Jackson
Felicia M. Gillie-Jackson is an author, workshop facilitator, inspirational speaker, life coach, wife, and mother. Felicia was born in Chicago, Illinois to Fegan and Louvenia Gillie. She is the seventh of seven children. Felicia is married to Lance Jackson and is the mother of five children: Chris, Lance II, Melanie, Victoria, and Christie. She is the grandmother to eight grandchildren: Alaysia, Lance III, Brooklynne, Mekhi, Ariyah, Matthew, Cecily, and Callie.
Felicia grew up in a Christian home. Her father was devoted to God’s ways and instilled faith, praise, and worship in his children. As the seventh child, Felicia grew up affectionately known as the “baby” of the family and was loved (some may refer to as “spoiled”) very much. Felicia had an active life – her father was an avid bowler and traveled across the states to compete in tournaments. As a teen, Felicia was a bowler but didn’t grab hold to the passion that rested in her father.
In 1985, Felicia relocated to Peoria, Illinois. She attended Bradley University and earned her Bachelor’s degree in 1987 and her Master’s degree in 1991. In 1990, Felicia began employment in child welfare services where she currently has over twenty-five years of experience. Working with children and families was an extension of Felicia’s healing and restoration ministry. In 1992, God validated His purpose and anointed Felicia to write her first book: Wounded Christian Stop the Pain from Hurting – Be Ye Healed! The book points out that a painful heartbreak, rejection, or the loss of a loved one can cripple and impair the heart and soul. Just like a physical injury needs attention and repair, so does wounds of the heart and soul. In 1999, Felicia married God’s best and the love of her life, Lance C. Jackson Sr. In 2000, Felicia earned her ministerial license and began teaching and proclaiming God’s word in the pulpit, in the streets, and in the classroom. Her ministry touched the hearts and souls of those broken by undesirable life conditions and damaged by emotional storms and despair. In 2008, God again fulfilled His purpose and Felicia authored: The Millionaire Christian. The book was published in 2011.
Felicia can firsthand testify as to experiencing pain and grief. In 2011, Felicia’s father suddenly passed and gained eternal rest. In 2013, Felicia’s sister, Louvenia Timms transitioned into the arms of the Lord. In 2016, Alaysia Bennett, Felicia’s 19 year old granddaughter was murdered – the victim of gun violence. Lastly in 2020, Felicia’s older sister, Debra Gillie won her fight against cancer and gained an imperishable robe of victory. Felicia found comfort and strength in the word of God and a redefined purpose to preach, teach, and minister the love of God with vengeance and power.
Today, Felicia continues to work in child welfare services. She continues to use her voice as a weapon to destroy the works of the enemy and to release new life and wholeness to those under the sound of her voice. Felicia is the facilitator of her Millionaire Christian-Keep the P.A.C.E. workshop that is rapidly traveling through Central Illinois. The workshop ushers in truth, revelation, understanding and a greater knowledge of God. The theme of the workshop is: “Experience the Abundance in You!”
